Boston Briefcase Company is an e-tail operation based in Massachusetts. We have only recently become established, but we have a long tradition of service in the travel goods industry.
  1. Beginnings. Our founder was an integral part of a successful Internet technology team that helped a real-world luggage and gift retailer make the jump to e-tail business in 1996. He left in 2005 to begin Boston Briefcase Company with a focus on supplying more personalized attention to customers and more services to corporate customers in particular.

  2. Focus. We have started our company with a focus on putting new technology service tools to work for our corporate customers. In addition, we're focused on bringing top-notch customer service to all our individual customers.

  3. Expansion. We hope to continue to expand our operations in the future, offering more service, more products and greater functionality for the customer.

FREE Shipping Statement

Boston Briefcase Company has a policy of offering FREE SHIPPING on all orders over $100.00. We make this offer to our customers shipping packages within the contiguous United States. You do not have to request our standard FREE SHIPPING or specify it. It is automatically applied to all qualifying orders. The only things you need to be aware of regarding this policy are...
  1. It must be going to a domestic destination within the contiguous USA
  2. The order total must be over $100.00.
  3. You must not select another shipping method. (Priority, Overnight, 3-day, 2-day. Selection of any alternative shipping method will automatically disqualify you for free shipping)

All other shipping methods and destinations will be charged as estimated at checkout. Our shopping cart will automatically apply shipping charges and allow you to see the shipping total at checkout.

NOTE about APO/FPO addresses: Our policy used to be, we do not ship to APO/FPO addresses at all, but thanks to a patient back and forth with one Serviceman, we were reminded that it's tough to get email time and even tougher to get packages to our service men and women around the world, and we would like to support our troops in any way we can, so we have changed that policy with the following warning. All orders going to an APO/FPO must be mailed or phoned in. Many times, we have to order the bag for delivery to our offices and then ship it out to the APO/FPO address because many of our vendors don't ship to APO/FPO addresses. This can cause an extra week delivery time for you and it adds an extra cost- in some cases, double the shipping costs, although we will try to keep costs to a minimum for you. Please email us with whatever you're trying to order and the APO/FPO address and we'll put together a complete estimate- delivered. email us at service@bostonbriefcase.com.

NOTE about P.O. BOXES: Unfortunately, we cannont ship to a P.O. Box, please provide a street address.

NOTE about weekend orders: Unfortunately, we cannont ship on a Saturday or Sunday. All orders, whether they are expidited or regular shipping will leave on a week day, not on the weekend, so please calculate all times based on a weekday-only schedule. In other words, a bag ordered on a Saturday with THREE DAY SELECT shipping, will not leave on Saturday with an arrival time of Monday, but will in fact leave on the following Monday and arrive on that Thursday. Likewise, a bag ordered on Friday, with THREE DAY SELECT shipping will ship on Friday, but not arrive until the following Wednesday.

Return Policy Statement

Boston Briefcase Company has done its best to provide first class customer service. And we greatly appreciate your business. However, we realize that not every purchase is going to be satisfactory to you, so we provide the following return options.
  1. Free Returns within 30 days. If you're not fully satisfied with your purchase when it arrives, simply send back the unused product in its original packaging within 30 days of receipt. We will provide a full refund of the purchase price. We're sorry, but we cannot refund your shipping if any charges are incurred.

  2. Holiday Returns. We have an extended holiday return policy that extends from November 21st to January 21st of the following year. Simply return the unused product in its original packaging by January 21st for a full refund of the purchase price. Again, we're sorry, but we cannot refund shipping charges.

  3. Manufacturer's Warranties If you have a damaged product and it was not damaged in shipping or from the factory, please consult the manufacturer's warranty card that came with your purhcase.


  4. Final Sales Any customized item including stamped, embossed or modified items are final sales and cannot be returned. Price-matched purchases and disontinued items may only be returned for a store credit.
