The McKlein USA brand was conceived in 1998. From its inception, the McKlein USA brand was marked as an architect of progress for mobile briefcase, leather laptop bags and computer backpack designs.

According to Chief Designer and Vice President of McKlein USA, Chettha Saetia, the March 1998 Travel Goods Association (TGA) show in Washington DC first put McKleinUSA on the map. Saetia chose this show to launch his innovative creation of wheeled cases for business professionals, at a time when only wheeled luggage cases were available on the market. Not only was he the first to introduce wheel business cases to the market, but he has since designed the largest selection of professional wheeled cases in the world.
